From Nights People

Hi, I'm Andi and Paprika is my hostel that I have made for all you backpackers who enjoy a cozy, social atmosphere; a place where you can relax between exploring the city's sites and joining our staff to explore the best nightlife Budapest has to offer. While you stay at Paprika we would like you to feel as if you are visiting an old friend, and leave feeling like part of the Paprika family. Some of the advantages of the hostel are:

Free maps and detailed information about Budapest on check-in.

Staff who not only recommend, but take you out nightly to the best nightlife in the city. All free of charge of course!

A flat screen TV and hundreds of DVDs (for those nights that you just don't have the energy to go out and party again!)

A mix of local and backpacker staff - who know all about the city, and maybe have a story or two about a few other places nearby.

Free linen, internet, WIFI all throughout the property, communal laptop and all the free tea and coffee you can drink.

A social and intimate common room where we encourage solo and small groups of travelers to chill out together!

A space age shower cabin complete radio and back massage functions! Feel human again after a long days travel or big night out!

If this sounds like your kind of hostel, pay us a visit here at Paprika!

I hope to see you here soon!

PLEASE BE AWARE: We have two adorable cats; Tiger & Nelli. If you are highly allergic than please take this into consideration before booking with us.

PLEASE NOTE: The reception is open until 10 pm and reopens at 8 AM--allowances can be made if notification is given.

We are located at 9 Weiner Leo street. It is an apartment complex, when you reach the entrance you can reach us by dialing 16 on the dial key pad found on the left of the door.

The closest major train station is NYUGATI,right alongside is the metro station Nyugati palyaudvar. From these stations it is an easy 5-8 minute walk to the hostel. First find an exit from the station and head south along Terez Korut, you should pass a quite majestic looking McDonalds on the left hand side then take your first right along Podmaniczky ut. and then the first left along Jokai ut. The first street on the right will be Weiner Leo ut, walk along until you find number 9 and buzz us. Simple!:)

For those arriving by bus it is likely that you will arrive at Nepliget Bus Station. From here you can ride north on the Blue M3 metro line which will take you straight to Nyugati palyaudvar. It is 8 stations away.

Those arriving from Budapest Terminal 2 Airport need to take bus Nr 200E to Kőbánya Kispest stop and switch to the blue metro. Get off at Nyugati station stop and follow the instructions to walk to the hostel.
If you would like to take a cab ZONA taxis runs at a set price of 4800 Ft.

From Keleti Train Station take the red metro east to Deák Ter and change to take the blue M3 metro north to Nyugati pélyaudvar. You only need one single ticket (300Ft).

If you wish to take a cab it is best to call and order one as waving one of the street can result in being overpriced. Paprika recommends Taxi 2000.
